Meetika is a Law graduate and has done her Masters in Commercial Laws from King’s College London. Meetika is registered with the Bar council of India and holds a Sanad
She has an experience of over 16 years in advising clients on Indirect tax implications under Customs, Excise, Service Tax (now Goods and Service Tax), Foreign Trade Policy and Value Added Tax in India.
She has also worked extensively on other indirect tax litigation matters and appeared before various tax authorities / forums in such matters
She has advised and assisted clients in managing complicated departmental investigations and enquiries and the litigation arising therefrom
During the span of her career, she has been associated with BMR Advisors, Economic Law Practices and Dhruva Advisors in Mumbai
She specializes in advising clients, both multi-national and domestic corporates on complex Indirect Tax issues and structuring.
She has undertaken indirect tax process / system review exercise for multiple service sector clients and more specifically for clients in media & logistic industry
