Chintan is a Chartered Accountant and a Law Graduate and has post-qualification experience of about 14 years in the field of Indirect Taxes & Foreign Trade Policy.
Prior to joining Aurtus Consulting, he has worked at Dhruva Advisors and Deloitte.
He has been advising clients on Indirect Taxes and Foreign Trade Policy across industries consisting of Manufacturing, Real Estate, Logistics, Power, Infrastructure, Ports, pharmaceuticals, IT, Consumer products, etc.
He specializes in litigation under GST, Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax laws, including appearances before Tribunal, Appellate Authorities, Adjudicating Authorities, and Advance Ruling Authorities. He has made representation before the Policy Relaxation Committee (part of the Foreign Trade Policy)
Chintan has been a Member of the Indirect Taxes Committee for the Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI for FY 2019-20. He has served as Group Leader in the Residential Refresher Course (RRC) organized by the Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI on numerous occasions.
