Avni has over 9 years of post qualification experience in advising clients on tax and regulatory matters (especially clients engaged in financial services sector)
She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce from Mumbai University
Her focus areas include transaction advisory, inbound and outbound investment structuring, fund set-ups and fund structuring, corporate restructuring and M&A transactions
She also advises domestic and foreign clients on matters relating to corporate tax (like tax compliances, litigation) and regulatory aspects pertaining to exchange control regulations and allied SEBI laws
Prior to joining Aurtus, Avni was a part of the Financial services / Deals tax team at PwC where her key clientele included Private Equity funds, MNCs, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Indian corporates and InvITs
Outside of her professional pursuits, Avni loves travelling, cooking and listening to music
