NCLT Bengaluru refuses to sanction amalgamation; flags tax non-compliance, creditor opposition and insolvency exposure
The Bengaluru Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (‘NCLT’) has refused to sanction a Scheme of Amalgamation under sections 230 to 232 of the Companies Act, 2013 involving four companies belonging to the same promoter group and operating in the real estate sector.
