India – UK CETA: New Rules of Origin to shape eligibility for Preferential Tariff Benefits [Notification No. 62/2026 – Customs [N.T.] dated 3rd July 2026]

India and the United Kingdom signed the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) on 24 July 2025, marking one of India's most significant bilateral trade agreements with a major developed economy. The Agreement aims to enhance bilateral trade by providing preferential market access, reducing or eliminating customs duties across a wide range of products, and facilitating deeper economic integration between the two countries.
